What to shout during bingo

If you are new to bingo halls, one of the first questions you may have is “What do I shout if I win bingo?”

BINGO!

If you think the answer to this is “BINGO!” then think again.

People who claim bingo by actually shouting “BINGO!” is the first sign of being a bingo amateur, and the regulars will instantly look upon you with disgust and ridicule. No-one says bingo anymore, avoid at all costs.

HOUSE!

You could probably get away with shouting “HOUSE!”, but again, you could get some dodgy looks and especially if you shout it for one or two lines. This is only ever acceptable on a full house game.

HERE!

The only thing that is important is that the caller knows someone has won, and the minions know where to ferry the cash winnings to. Therefore the number one popular thing to shout during bingo is simply “HERE!”.

It’s straight and to the point, and you are safe in sounding like a seasoned bingo pro. Plus, your cash will be winging it’s way to you in double quick time.

WOOHOO, YEAH! I WON! I’M THE BEST! YOU ALL SUCK!! HAHAHAHA!

Avoid this last one if you don’t fancy being asked to leave by the bingo manager.
